17 r e PROGRAMMING STEERING-WHEEL COMMANDS AND CAR-RADIO • Establish the connections at the car-connector (following the personalized connection-schemes), without connecting to the car-radio. • Turn the ignition-key. On the Display, the indication AP (Apprentice=learning) will appear. • 01 is the Profile for CLARION car-radios. For all other radio-brands, proceed by pressing key + available on the Central-Unit. After having identified the required radio-Profile, confirm, by pressing SEEK+ on the steering-wheel commands. • Once memorization is completed, Display will switch-off and LED will light Green. • Connect to the exit-cable of the steering-wheel commands situated on the back of the car-radio. • Check if the commands work correctly. If necessary, effect a Reset and repeat programming-process. • For memorization, carry out programming-procedure by starting from function VOL-. Press VOL- on the steering-wheel commands. The LED will flash once, and the Display will show 01 (first memorized function). Same procedure applies to all remaining functions, up to function 10 . If a certain function is not available, simply press key + to skip to the next function.
